However, the monsoon season prompted a return to Recco, Italy, where he envisioned his next exotic escapade. In 1968, his journey brought him to the vibrant shores of Mexico.
Settling in Guadalajara, he embraced a new chapter of his life, marrying a Mexican woman and seizing the opportunity to manage a restaurant in the city. In March 1973, Recco Restaurant opened its doors, infusing the flavors of Italy with Mexican hospitality.
